Home The place I have chosen as my subject was my home. With the pandemic, I don't feel safe going out much unless for essentials, but during quarantine there has renovations done to our house. I chose this subject because I feel that the more I am inside, I am getting a little too familiar with my "new" surroundings being online and almost forgetting how the outside of my house looks like. That is why the pieces of my home that are inside are colored in harder with colored pencil compared to the aspects of the house that are outside. The things outside are slightly colored in because it feels like I am forgetting/ not appreciating it as much as I used to. I also wanted to incorporate blues and make the piece appear as if slightly falling down because I feel like the longer I stay inside, the more distant I feel from the world and it is depressing.
