(untitled) The subject matter of my print is a concert. I tried to create the feeling of a concert without some of the tell-tale contextual clues such as a performer or band name. Concerts are one of my favorite things to attend and since lockdown they have since disappeared. I am hoping my print conveys the feeling of absence of social outlets such as concerts. It has been over a year since lockdown and although that amount of time doesn’t always seem long in this case, I can feel the memories of these social events fading in my memory. I hope that the silhouetted bodies and the stage veiled in haze convey the feeling of a memory’s details fading.
